Sydney Raber is a South Carolina-based illustrator and sculptor, creating vibrant, playful abstract artworks that explore ceramics, collage, and wood construction as mediums. Her subject matter draws heavy inspiration from historical art movements, such as Retrofuturism, and embraces the warm nostalgia and kitsch of vintage design aesthetics, an interest of hers both in and out of the studio.

Sydney graduated from Brevard College in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art, with a concentration in Sculpture, and a minor in History. Since 2020, Sydney has actively participated in numerous exhibitions and shows; her college art journey culminated in April 2024 with her work in Brevard College's Senior Exhibition. Her artistic and academic work has been recognized through features in Brevard College's Art and Literary Journal, Chiaroscuro, and several academic awards for her sculptural works.
